Got a case of, "Quarantine Wedding Brain"?👇🏽
Yeah, that's a thing I just came up with and yeah, this is a picture of me celebrating all of my incredible 2020 couples for navigating these strange and uncertain times 🥂
I get it, it's difficult. Tell your brain not to think about something and it goes right there AND stays there.
Instead of telling you what not to think about, I'm sharing my top ways on how to step out of stressing, bring some ease to your life, and enjoy this time of being engaged ⬇️
☁️ FaceTime a friend, hop into a live yoga class, enroll in an online course, or host a virtual happy hour! Connectedness is as important as ever, reach out and stay social during these times 👯
☁️ Get out of your space! Go on a long walk, take your dog to the park or simply sit on your balcony and take some time to just breath in the fresh air
☁️ Limit screen time 👀 I'm right there with you. Lord knows this one is a CHALLENGE for me. Leave your phone in another room, read a book before bed instead of watching Netflix, bake, draw, dance or clean up instead of scrolling for an hour
☁️ I know what it's like to keep checking the news, doing the math in your head as to how many cases there might be by your big day, limit the amount of content you are taking in. Set a time in the evening when you will stop consuming information, and simply rest!
These times are strange, y'all! We're slowing down, we're faced with a lot more free time than before, we're enjoying these times, regardless of how uncertain they may seem.
Can I get an amen?! 🙌🏼
