On my way home from work a few days ago, I boarded a tricycle. At one of the stops, a passenger alighted and as usual, the rest of us had to adjust our sitting arrangement accordingly. This resulted in the only male passenger being placed between myself and the other lady. The man I'd like to refer to as Mr. M objected to sitting in the middle. His reason?
Mr. M: 'I won't sit in the middle cause if a bullet gets shot, I could get hit sitting in the middle. I'd rather sit at the edge (i.e by the door) so that I can have hope of missing the bullet.' Where on Earth did that come from and why would he think such a thing? We were not being attacked, were not in a dangerous neighborhood nor was the city on fire as to say we that we should be concerned about catching stray bullets. It isn't on record that people move around with fire arms either, matter of fact, we were in very safe territory so why would he think and say such a thing when it turned out that he would have to sit between two ladies? I sat there perplexed trying to wrap my mind around it.
Words are powerful and potent. They carry life and death. You can create the world you desire or destroy the same using words. So, rather than speak negativism into your life or day, speak positively.
The truth is words never die; they are active so keep speaking the things you want to see and in due season, you'll see them come to pass.
Remember, you are a god, gods don't use words carelessly because they understand the power and potency in words.
Speak life today and always and have yourself a phenomenal week ahead.
